8/25/2012 – At 12:55 AM Talbot Center dispatched Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro), Paramedic 90 and Queen Anne’s Co. Paramedic 400 for a 10-50 PI reported serious at the intersection of Shore Highway and Owens Road.
Chief 80 (C. Morgan) arrived on location to find two vehicle involved with one patient ejected and established command. After further investigation, Command requested Aviation, three additional Paramedic Units and an Engine from Station 50 (Cordova) to assist with the LZ. A total of four patients were transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Trooper 6 and Trooper 4. One patient was declared a Priority 4 at the scene.
Shore Highway remained closed in both directions for approximately four hours while the Maryland State Police conducted their investigation.
