8/21/2011 – On Sunday morning Station 100 (Federalsburg) conducted a controlled burn of a commercial building that had been damaged in a previous fire. Crews were able to practice ventilation on the roof as well as interior fire attack. Once the crews were finished practicing the structure was burned.
Station 200 (Preston), Station 26 (Eldorado-Brookview) and Station 14 (Sharptown) also participated in the burn.
