3/15/2011 – At 7:30 PM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 4 (Centreville), Station 3 (Queenstown), Station 2 (Grasonville) and Station 5 (Church Hill) for a structure fire at 117 Grove Cove Road. Officer 303 (F. Russum) arrived on location and reported one building fully involved with extension to the woods. Officer 303 established command and requested the Tanker Task Force, which add Talbot County Station 50 (Cordova) and Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) to the box assignment. Crews operated on the scene for approximately 3 hours doing extensive overhaul.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
