1/13/2011 – January 7 2011 – At approximately 1845hrs Wicomico central altered Station 3 Fruitland for a MVC train VS car at RT 13 and Cedar Lane. Due to the nature of the dispatch 316 (J. Shrereves) requested an upgrade to a rescue prior to arrival. Medic B3 arrived to find the vehicle to the rear of Black Diamond Catering approximately 700ft away from the point of impact. Crews from Rescue Engine 302 and Recue 16 extricated three priority 1 patients from the vehicle for transport to PRMC. Personnel on the train were not injured.
