3/21/2010 – At approximately 4:00 PM Caroline dispatched Talbot County Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro), Paramedic 14 and Paramedic 391 for an MVC involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Main Street and Tuckahoe Road. Rescue 84 arrived on location and Officer 801 (T. Unruh) established “Main Street” command.
A motorcycle with a single occupant was traveling north on Tuckahoe Road and failed to stop at the intersection. The motorcycle crossed Main Street, jumped a curb and struck a tree before coming to a stop approximately 50 feet from the roadway. The patient was transported by Trooper 6 to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
