Date & Location: 8:05am Hobbs Rd. north of US 50, Salisbury
Vehicle #1: 2004 Freightliner Truck and Trailer
Vehicle # 2: 2005 Ford Crown Victoria
Brief Resume:
On the above date and time, MSP investigated a personal injury collision at the above location. Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on Hobbs Road north of Rt. 50. Vehicle #2 was traveling southbound on Hobbs Road. Vehicle #1 was a Perdue tractor and trailer operated by the above listed driver. Vehicle #2 was a marked Maryland State Police vehicle operated by Detective Sergeant Dalfonso whom is currently assigned to the Princess Anne Barrack. The investigation conducted on scene revealed that vehicle #1 traveled from the northbound lane, across the double yellow line and into the southbound lane in front of vehicle #2. The collision between vehicle #1 and vehicle #2 was head on. The operators of both vehicles were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) for apparent minor injuries. The operator of vehicle #1 was cited for failure to drive right of center and negligent driving.
