10/21/2009 – On 10-21-09 Station 6 Parsonsburg & Sta.74 Delmar were alerted for a accident with injuries and rescue on Downing Rd in Parsonsburg 1st due. An officer from Sta.6 arrived first on scene in his POV. He advised all incoming units that there would only be one patient, the driver and he was trapped inside his overturned vehicle. Rescue Engine 604 arrived and put the Hurst tool in service. They also stretched a inch ¾ hand line due to a possible fuel leak. Rescue 74 arrived and its crew helped with the removal of the patient. It took about 5 mins to pop open the passenger side door. The patient was loaded into an awaiting ambulance and transported to PRMC as a pri-1 trauma.
