5/21/2009 – Thursday morning, Stations 6, 2, and 16 for Rescue 16 were alerted for a MVC with rescue at the crossover for the Rt 50 bypass in the area of Hobbs Rd. Emergency crews arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle MVC involving a rollback and an SUV with heavy damage to the front of the SUV. Rescue workerd performed a door pop on the SUV and were then able to remove the patient for transport to PRMC.
Rt. 50 westbound was shut down for 1 hour during the incident.
