2/21/2009 – At approximately 4:20 PM Sudlersville (Queen Anne’s County Station 6), Church Hill (Queen Anne’s County Station 5), Community Fire Co. (Kent County MD Station 2), and Paramedic 600 were dispatched for a working structure fire at 248 East Main Street. Upon arrival Chief 6 established command, reported one commercial garage approximately 30’ x 60’ fully involved and requested the Tanker Task Force. It took about an hour to bring the fire under control and after extensive overhaul units cleared the scene at approximately 8:30 PM. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s Office.
