12/29/17 – At approximately 8:00 AM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 4 (Goodwill), Station 3 (Queenstown), Paramedic 300, Paramedic 400 and EMS-3 for an MVC with entrapment at the intersection of Route 213 and Grange Hall Road. Units arrived on location to find one vehicle that had been T-boned by a tractor-trailer with the driver of the car entrapped. Once extrication was completed the driver was evaluated by Paramedics and Aviation was requested. Trooper 1 transported a single patient to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and the driver of the tractor-trailer refused treatment at the scene.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
