5/8/15 – Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 4 (Goodwill), Station 3 (Queenstown) and Queen Anne’s County DES for an MVC at the intersection of Route 213 and Route 309. Chief 4 (J. Kiel) arrived on location to find 2 vehicles involved and established command. All units from Station 3 were cancelled due to Engine 52 (Church Hill) being in Centreville on an assignment at the High School. One patient was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Trooper 1 and the driver of the other vehicle refused treatment at the scene.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
