1/21/15 – Shortly after 5 AM Dorchester Central dispatched Station 61 (Linkwood-Salem) and Station 1-1 (Rescue FC) for an MVC involving a tractor-trailer on Route 50 in the area of Beaver Neck Road. Units arrived on location to find a loaded propane tanker overturned in the ditch. Several other companies were added to the Rescue Box to assist. The driver of the truck was transported to Dorchester General with minor injuries. Route 50 remained closed in both directions while MDE, Sharp Energy and Jess Jr’s. and Sons cleaned up the scene.
