12/24/14 – Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 5 (Church Hill) and Station 6 (Sudlersville) for an MVC with rollover on Route 301 in the area of Route 19. Units arrived on location to find a tractor-trailer loaded with bananas overturned off of the roadway. Station 1 (Kent Island) was added to the Rescue Box to assist with pumping the diesel fuel from the saddle tanks. The driver of the truck refused treatment at the scene.
Crews from Jess Jr’s. and Sons worked until almost mid-night cleaning up the wreckage.
