1/13/14 – At approximately 4:30 PM Caroline dispatched Station 300 (Denton), Station 400 (Ridgely), Talbot County Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) and Station 50 (Cordova) for a working structure fire at 8980 New Bridge Road. Units arrived on location to find a two story, wood framed structure with heavy smoke showing. The crew from Engine 302 made an aggressive interior attack on the blaze resulting in a quick knock. Units remained on scene for approximately 1 ½ hours doing extensive overhaul.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
