8/24/2013 – At approximately 9:00 PM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 3 (Queenstown) Station 1 (Kent Island on stand-by at Station 3), Station 2 (Grasonville), Paramedic 300 and Paramedic 400 for an MVC with rollover on Carmichael Road. Units arrived on location to find one vehicle overturned in the field with the lone occupant ejected. Aviation was requested however was cancelled prior to their arrival due to the patient’s condition. The patient was transported to the Queen Anne’s ER where he succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
