2/22/2013 – At 7:49 AM Caroline dispatched Station 300 (Denton) and Paramedic 392 for an MVC on New Bridge Road in the area of Wilder Way. Units arrived on location to find one vehicle that had struck an electric pole. Officer 315 (D. Porter) arrived and established command. Aviation was requested, however once Trooper 6 arrived the patient refused, against medical advice to be flown out. He was transported to the Memorial Hospital at Easton and was later transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The accident investigation is being handled by the Maryland State Police.
