1/13/2013 – At 2:14 AM Talbot Center dispatched Station 50 (Cordova) and Paramedic 90 for a 10-50 PI in front of 12551 Ocean Gateway. Maryland State Police arrived on location and advised one vehicle with rollover and possible entrapment. Talbot Center added Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) and Station 60 (Easton) to the Rescue Box. Utility 57 arrived on location, Officer 505 (N. Lange) established command and after further investigation discovered there was no entrapment resulting in the cancellation of Station 60 Units. Due to dense fog, Aviation was down and the patient was transported to the Memorial Hospital at Easton with serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Maryland State Police.
