1/3/2013 – At 8:20 PM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 4 (Goodwill), Station 3 (Queenstown), Paramedic 40 and Paramedic 400 for an MVC with entrapment on north bound Route 301 at Rolling Bridge Road. Units arrived on location to find two vehicles involved with both drivers entrapped. Crews from Rescue 4 and Rescue 3 worked on extrication while Engine 41 secured the LZ for Trooper 4. Once both patients were extricated and stabilized they were transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Trooper 4.
North bound Route 301 remained closed for the duration of the call and the accident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
