12/27/2011 – At approximately 9:15 AM Caroline dispatched Station 300 (Denton), Station 200 (Preston) and Dorchester County Station 6 (Hurlock) for an MVC with a car in the water, on Harmony Road in the area of Two Johns Road. Units arrived on location to find one vehicle submerged in a creek. After further investigation it was determined all occupants had fled the scene. Station 6’s Dive Team was cancelled and the crew from Dive 200 assisted Knott’s Towing with hooking up the vehicle for removal from the creek.
The accident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
