11/12/2011 – Around 4:30PM, Dorchester Central alerted Station 26 Eldorado and Dorchester Paramedic 200 of a MVC with injuries on Eldorado – Rhodesdale Rd. in the area of the Church. Paramedic 200 arrived on scene and confirmed a single vehicle MVC with a SUV on its side and electric pole across the roadway. Paramedic 200 advised Dorchester Central that the MVC would be a rescue, with one patient unable to get out of the vehicle. Station 6 Hurlock was alerted to assist. One patient was transported to DGH with non-life threatening injuries. Eldorado – Rhodesdale Rd. was shut down until the power company was able to replace the pole.
