10/30/2011 – On Sunday morning several companies from across the state of Maryland gathered in Denton to participate in the State Water Supply Drill.
Three engines were used to set up draft sites. Once the tankers were loaded at the draft site they traveled 4 miles to the dump site and pumped their load of water into two nurse tankers. The water was then pumped through approximately 2,900 feet of LDH and then discharged. Crews were able to flow approximately 1,100 gallons per minute for 2 hours.
