9/5/2011 – At approximately 8:10 PM Caroline dispatched Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) and Paramedic 14 for an MVC with entrapment on Main Street in the area of the Hillsboro Boat Ramp. Chief 80 (C. Morgan) arrived on location to find one vehicle that had been hit by a large falling tree. Officer 803 (C. Morgan) established command.
Due to the tree completely blocking the roadway many of the members were unable to make it to the station and Command requested the next due Rescue be added to the call. Two patients were transported to the Memorial Hospital at Easton with minor injuries.
