8/3/2011 – At approximately 9:40 AM Talbot Center dispatched Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) and Paramedic 90 for a 10-50 PI on Shore Highway in the area of Dulin Road.
Talbot Center advised all responding units that Queen Anne’s County Utility 1 was on location and reported three vehicles involved. Station 50 (Cordova) was added to the Rescue Box and upon the arrival of Rescue 84, Officer 803 (C. Morgan) established “Shore Highway” command.
Aviation was requested and Trooper 6 transported one patient to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. All other patients refused treatment at the scene.
Shore Highway was open to east bound traffic, west bound traffic was detoured around the scene until approximately 2:45 PM while the accident was being investigated and cleaned up.
Units on scene: Rescue 84, Engine 51, Paramedic 90, Utility 1, Trooper 6, Maryland State Police and State Highway.
