7/21/2011 – On 7-21-2011 the Sussex County EOC alerted Sta.81 Laurel along with SCEMS for a MVC w/ injuries at the intersection of Laurel Rd x Shiloh Church Rd. 81 Command arrived on location to find a 2 vehicle accident with a Jeep over turned into a yard. Command requested an additional ambulance from Sta.71 Blades to the scene to help with patient transport. A total of 3 patients were transported Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford De for treatment. Traffic on Laurel Rd was detoured around the accident for about 45 mins.
