3/2/2011 – On Saturday morning members from Caroline County Station 400 (Ridgely) conducted an extrication drill at Henderson Auto Salvage. A majority of the attending members had never participated in a working rescue or had any hands on experience with rescue tools. The crew was showed the proper and safe way to handle the tools and then they practiced on several cars. Practice exercises included stabilizing the vehicle, glass removal, door pop, door removal, roof removal and a dash roll.
