2/19/2011 – While my wife and I were at Preston’s annual banquet, Caroline dispatched Station 200 (Preston), Station 100 (Federalsburg), Talbot County Station 60 (Easton) and Dorchester County Station 6 (Hurlock) for a structure fire on Poplar Neck Road in the area of Havercamp Road. Engine 63 (the stand-by crew) arrived on location to find a small barn fully involved. Despite the extremely high winds crews were able to stop the blaze before it extended to the mobile home located close to the barn.
Officer 215 (B. Milligan) had “Poplar Neck Road” command.
