2/11/2011 – Around 1300 Engine 16-1 was on the way back to the station and came across a overturned vehicle in the ditch on the side of the road. The officer advised Central of the accident, and after investigation upgraded it to a rescue. There was a SUV on its roof with one occupant trapped inside. Firefighters used to Jaws-Of-Life to open the doors on the SUV. EMS crews attended to the patient. One patient was transported to PRMC. One lane in Rt 50 was shut down during the incident.
