1/10/2011 – On 1-10-10 Sta.83 Millsboro, Trooper-2 and Medic 103 were alerted for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. 83-15 Matt Warrington arrived to find a Ford pickup that has lost control on an ice covered roadway and overturned into a field. During the roll over the driver’s head was trapped between the truck and the ground. Engine 83-4 arrived and crews used air bags and Rescue Jacks to secure the truck. Crews then removed the windshield and the front half of the roof to gain access and to remove the patient. Country Living Rd was closed during the rescue operations.
