8/4/2010 – At 2:15 PM Caroline dispatched Station 300 (Denton) and Station 400 (Ridgely) for and MVC at the intersection of Shore Highway (Route 404) and River Road. Chief 3 (Officer 316 D. Porter) arrived on location to find two vehicles involved with entrapment and established command. After patient assessment, it was determined that Aviation was going to be needed and Engine 405 with Officer 415 (B. Utz) secured the landing zone. Crews from Engine 304 and Rescue 300 extricated the patients and assisted EMS.
Two patients were transported by Trooper 6 to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
