6/7/2010 – At approximately 3:00 PM Caroline dispatched Station 400 (Ridgely) and Station 600 (Greensboro) for an MVC involving a motorcycle on Oakland Road near Race Track Road. Chief 4 (B. Utz) arrived on location to find a motorcycle in the grass on the side of the road and established “Oakland Road” command. After paramedics did the patient assessment, Command requested Aviation. Engine 401 secured a landing zone at the Ridgely Airport and one patient was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Trooper 1.
