2/15/2010 – A two-alarm fire on Monday afternoon in Kennedyville Md destroyed a barn and kept 80 firefighters busy for hours,hampered by deepsnow and limited accessibility.Fire was on a farm at Turners Creek Road was reported by a passerby at 4:07 p.m.and was well involved when the first units arrived. The two-story barn was converted into a hunting lodge ..The driveway was a mile long with ice and snow on each side. Photos show owners and neighbors tractors pushing snow to help open up the area. Personnel and equipment were from Kennedyville, Chestertown, Galena, Betterton, Rock Hall, Millington, Cecilton, Hacks Point, Chesapeake City, Sudlerville, Church Hill, Crumpton, Townsend and Odessa.
