1/8/2010 – At approximately 6:50 AM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 4 (Goodwill), Station 3 (Queenstown), Paramedic 400, Talbot County Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) and Caroline Station 300 (Denton) for a house fire at 360 Rolling Bridge Road. Communications advised all responding unit that the caller stated there was flames coming from the wood stove.
EMS-4 (R. Morris) was the first to arrive on location and reported heavy smoke showing. Engine/Tanker 4 arrived on location, Officer 405 (K. Bloodsworth) established command and advised Engine 32, Tower 4 and Engine 85 to come up the lane and all other equipment to stage on the hard surface. One crew advanced a hand line through the front door while a second crew pulled a line to the rear of the structure and together they were able to make a quick knock on the fire. Three of the occupants were transported to the Memorial Hospital at Easton for evaluation.
