11/26/2009 – At approximately 4:00 PM Caroline dispatched Station 400 (Ridgely) and Paramedic 16 for a MVC with possible entrapment on Crouse Mill Road in the area of Cherry Lane. Chief 4 (B. Utz) arrived on location, reported one vehicle involved with entrapment and advised Caroline the actual location would be on Cherry Lane near the entrance to Tuckahoe State Park. Officer 415 (B. Utz) established “Cherry Lane” command.
After paramedics did the patient assessment, command requested aviation and was advised Maryland and Delaware Troopers were grounded do to the weather. Once the patient was extricated they were transported to Kent General Hospital by ground.
