6/27/2009 – At 8:00 AM this morning Station 60 (Easton) conducted a controlled burn of a chicken house on Marengo Road. A water curtain was set up to protect a small pump house located about 25 feet away from the structure.
Brush 66 established a draft site at a pond located on the property and supplied Tanker 61, which supplied Engine 67. The only water used was to protect the trees and pump house. In approximately one hour the structure was on the ground and unit began to pack up.
