6/11/2009 – At approximately 12:45 PM Talbot Center dispatched Station 50 (Cordova), Paramedic 90, Caroline County Dive Team, Queen Anne’s County Boat 1, Boat 3, and Boat 10 for subjects in the water in Skipton Creek, near 12814 Ocean Gateway. Paramedic 50 and Paramedic 90 responded to the address on Ocean Gateway while Engine 51 responded to Skipton Landing and Officer 505 (B. Callahan) established command. Members from Station 50 deployed by boat from Skipton Landing and Trooper 6 did a complete search from the air. Shortly thereafter Paramedic 50 advised command there were several kids swimming at the end of the dock (enjoying a cool swim on a hot day) and the search was called off. The caller had good intensions.
