5/3/2009 – Around 9:30pm Sussex EOC alerted Sta. 74 to an MVC with Injuries at the intersection of Sussex Hwy. and E. State St. A light mist was falling when 74 Command arrived on location to find 3 vehicles with multiple patients. Paramedic A-74 and Ambulance B-74 treated at least 3 people, then transported to PRMC. Crews from Rescue 74 & Engine 74 worked on cleanup. Traffic Control 74 along with Fire Police directed traffic around the scene which blocked one southbound lane of US13 and completely shutdown State Street. The incident was cleared in 35 minutes and turned over to Delmar Police Department.
