3/21/2009 – The driver of a Perdue truck was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center Saturday afternoon for minor injuries after the truck struck a tree, the Maryland State Police said. The tractor-trailer was heading south on Route 113 near Lambertson Road when the driver lost control and hit a tree shortly before 3 p.m. HAZMAT crews were also called to the scene after it was determined the collision caused approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel. The cause of the accident is unknown as it is still under investigation.
