2/1/2009 – On Sunday, February 1, at around 12:04 New Castle County Fireboard dispatched Station 22 (Minquadale) for a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Lowes Store on Hessler Blvd, just off of duPont Highway. Engine 22-2 responded and on arrival found a fire in the engine compartment of a small box type truck. The crew made a quick knock on the fire and damage appeared to be contained to the engine compartment of the truck.
