1/29/2009 – The Mardela, Hebron & Sharptown fire departments were alerted for a structure fire in the 23000 block of Marsh Rd. Fire crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions on side ‘’B’’ of the structure. A call went out for a tanker to assist from Sta.11 Vienna. The alarm was declared under control about 45 minutes later.
The Maryland State Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause of the fire. The American Red Cross is helping the family that was displaced.
