1/10/2009 – Just after midnight, Wicomico Central alerted Stations 2, 16 and 1 to a reported house fire in the 500 block of East Isabella Street. Initial reports were structure fully involved with occupants trapped. Crews arrived on scene to find family had escaped. The scene was placed under control in about 45 minutes, with crews remaining for extensive overhaul. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze, and the Red Cross is assisting the family.
