8/17/2008 – Just after midnight, Wicomico central alerted Stations 2, 16 and 1 to a reported house fire on the 1900 block Pine Way in Salisbury. This house had previously been burned twice before, last on July 26. Paramedic 2 was first on scene confirming fire in the rear of the house. Assistant Chief 1 arrived just afterwards, followed quickly by Engine 2-10. Crews were advised to protect exposures first, and to use extreme caution inside the house due to damage from previous fires. Equipment/Crews from Salisbury Stations 2, 16 and 1, along with a Tanker from Delmar Sta. 74 were on scene for just over an hour. Station 74 had a crew standby at Station 2 during the call. The owner, who lives out of town, had begun cleanup/reconstruction recently. The fire marshal’s office asks anyone with information to contact them at: 410-713-3780.
