8/2/2008 – Sussex EOC alerted Station 81 (Laurel) for 2 vehicle MVC at 00:29 hours. Engine 81-4 arrived to find a Nissan sedan had rear-ended a Delaware Electric Co-Op truck. The driver of the car had a minor laceration to the head. The passengers in the car and the driver of the truck were uninjured. The scene was placed under control at 00:48 hours, with 81-4 and fire police remaining on scene a bit longer for traffic control pending arrival of tow truck.
