6/12/2008 – At approximately 18:10 hours, Kent Center alerted Station 50 (Harrington), Kent County EMS (KM-8), and DSP Trooper 2 of an MVC with rollover on South duPont Highway in the area of the Valero in Harrington. Upon arrival Command 50 with 50-18 (Robbie Brode) found a two vehicle MVC, involving a minivan and a utility van. Command advised Engine 50-5 that they would need to do a door pop on the utility van. An occupant of the utility van was extricated and packaged for transport to Peninsula Regional Medical Center via Trooper 2. An occupant of the minivan was packaged and transported with ALS to Kent General Hospital via B-50. Command placed the inciden under control around 18:35. The southbound lanes of duPont Highway (US 13) were closed for a short period after to clear the scene and for Harrington PD to do their investigation.
