2/29/2008 – The Delmar Fire Department was alerted for a accident with injuries on Rt.54 and Providence Church Rd west of Delmar. EMS crews arrived to find a vehicle in a ditch with the driver complaining of no feeling below the waist. The crew of Rescue-74 arrived and the crew began to remove the driver for patient care.
The driver was transported to PRMC in Salisbury Md for treatment. Delmar Fire Police shut down Rt.54 to one lane during the alarm.
