4/23/2010 - Dwight E. Taylor, DP&L employee
Dwight Everette Taylor, 54, of Millsboro, went home to rest safely in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, April 23, 2010, at Milford Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood David and Sarah Elizabeth Taylor of Millsboro, and sister, Priscilla Snell of Cleveland, Ohio.

Dwight attended Sussex Central High School and graduated in 1973. Dwight was first employed by Ames Department Store in Millsboro. During his employment at Ames, he was recruited for employment at Delmarva Power & Light.


Leaving to cherish the fond memories are his wife Sharon of 31 years; two daughters, Tarez and Nicole Taylor; three grandchildren, Ca’Sharra Sample of Georgetown, Caitlyn and Darien Taylor of Millsboro; nine sisters, Sylvia “Jennie” Santiago (Joe), Pamela, Wanda, Bertha, Gail and Sebrena Taylor, all of Millsboro, Shirley Conaway of Harrington; Catherine Hall (Aldon) of Clarksville, and Linda Perry (Lawrence) of Chesapeake, Va.; two brothers, Bruce of Georgetown and Robert (Anna) of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Sheryl McQueen and Minnie Currington (Lorenzo), both of Millsboro; one brother-in-law, George Mosley (Jennifer); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 South Washington St., Millsboro. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 29, at Dickerson Chapel AME Church in Millsboro; friends may also call one hour prior. Interment will be private.
